Marketing for Creative and Cultural Spaces

OBJECTIVE

Drive community engagement and participation through a hands-on creative workshop, while positioning Burwood Library as a space for accessible, social and design-led experiences.

INSIGHT

Creative activities are often seen as individual and skill-based, which can feel intimidating. However, when framed as simple, guided and social, they become a low-barrier way for people to connect, especially for those seeking community and belonging.

EXECUTION

Delivered a guided carnation zine workshop in collaboration with the Parramatta & Burwood Journaling Social, supported by targeted promotion and post-event resources to extend engagement. Achieved ~97% average satisfaction (4.86/5), with 20 attendees, and strong interest in future sessions.
